The movie is epic. Well written, well acted and photographed with gut wrenching style, this war horse is one hell of a ride from start to finish. The material is handled with a surprising amount of sensitivity and you may even find yourself laughing at the situational one-liners that come admidst the carnage.After Bay's Transformer movies I have to say I wasn't expecting much but this true tale of blood, bullets & brotherhood grabs hold from its first frame and doesn't let up until the cavalry arrives ...be it all too late.
